The Edible MarketFood festival
Working with The Edible Market:
The Edible Market food festival was held for the first time in October 2013, bringing together food producers from all across the East of England.
The visual identity for the festival had to appeal to producers and visitors alike, illustrating the quality and standard of produce that would be available.
In building the website a number of features had to be included:
- Easily up-dateable to quickly get new information live to exhibitors and public
- A directory that could be quickly and easily updated with exhibitors as they were booked
- A booking system for exhibitors that allowed for receipt emails to be automatically sent and a follow-up system that would confirm bookings, spaces and extras that had been booked as well at the data being easily exported from the site via spreadsheets for other use
- A ticket booking system for visitors that allowed for multiple ticket types, multiple ticket purchases and ticket distribution. All data should be easy to export for other use
As well as extensive social media marketing, local advertising and leaflet drops were also part of the promotion of the event.
